Step 1: Prep Your Tool and Hair
Ensure your hair is clean, dry, and tangle-free. Place the iron on its stand on
a smooth, heat-resistant surface and plug it in. Press the ON/OFF button up until
the device powers on and the light indicator appears. Adjust the temperature
with the left and right buttons to your preferred heat setting. For most hair
types, we recommend 180°C/360°F for healthier styling, unless you have very
coarse or thick hair that requires higher heat.
Step 2: Prep Your Hair for Long-Lasting Waves
For lush, long-lasting waves, proper preparation is key! Apply a heat
protectant and a contour spray, to shield your hair from heat damage while
adding extra hold and texture. Our product does produce high amounts of
negative irons which all always good for keeping hair healthy and safe
Step 3: Section and Wave Your Hair
Divide your hair into sections using our Grip Clips. Smaller sections will
result in more defined waves. Start at the top, near the roots, and clamp a
section of hair evenly inside the barrels. Be careful not to touch the scalp
with the tool. Hold for 2-5 seconds—less time for easily curled hair or softer
waves. After releasing your first clamp, align the top barrel with the last
wave bend to create seamless waves from roots to ends. Continue this process
section by section until all hair is styled.
Step 4: Set and Finish Your Waves
Once you've finished styling, allow your waves to cool completely to set them
in place. For a relaxed, beachy look, gently brush out the waves or comb
through them. To keep/maintain your gorgeous curls use a flexible, workable
spray or lacquer for a firmer hold.
Step 5: Power Off and Clean Up
To turn off the tool, press the power button ‘Off’. Allow it to cool down
completely before storing it away. Wipe down the tool after each use to prevent
product buildup and keep it in top condition.
